The reported West Ham United target has joined another club for a bargain £935,000.

Some might say that West Ham United have already made their best possible signing this winter.
The Irons signed Declan Rice up to a new long-term contract last month and it should be enough to keep the Premier League’s elite from circling – until the summer at least.
It was a brilliant bit of business by West Ham, considering Rice’s promise, but the East Londoners missed out on what would’ve been another excellent signing recently.
According to Mundo Deportivo, the Hammers were monitoring Barcelona’s Munir El Haddadi ahead of a potential January swoop.
That won’t be happening now after the 23-year-old joined Sevilla, but the price-tag indicates that he would’ve been an exceptional coup for Manuel Pellegrini.
Munir joined the Spanish side for £935,000 [Barca’s official website] and given his talent, it’s an absolute steal.
He might not have been good enough to play with Lionel Messi or Luis Suarez, but he’s still a player with bags of ability and for less than £1 million, it’s a miss for United.
It remains to be seen how close West Ham were to getting him – if they even wanted him – but if it transpires that he was on Pellegrini’s radar and they didn’t press on with the move then questions should be asked.
