The Argentine midfielder has continued to impress for West Ham this season.

Eleven games into the Premier League season and it is fair to say things have not gone well for West Ham United.

After impressing under Slaven Bilic last season they headed into this campaign, their first at the London Stadium, with high hopes.

Instead, the Hammers find themselves 17^th in the table and just a point outside of the relegation zone.

They have not been themselves, to say the least, with a number of key players so far failing to hit the heights that they managed last year.

Manuel Lanzini was one of those star men, so how do his stats compare this year compare to the same time last season?

His passing has improved, he is posting more accurate passes per game, 35 compared to 28.6 per game, and more successful final third passes, 12.1 compared to 8.7.

His number of key passes per game has also risen while his overall passing accuracy has gone up by one percent.

Dribbling wise he has actually gotten worse, with just 1.6 contests won per game compared to 2.3 last season.

Meanwhile, his number of shots on target per game has stayed the same and so has his goal tally, although he is yet to register an assist, with one at this stage last year.

Overall improvement for Lanzini, though, and West Ham will be hoping there is more to come as they look to get out of their current predicament.
