The West Ham manager has struggled on his previous trips to Goodison Park to face Everton.

West Ham United manager David Moyes has revealed that he is especially determined to secure a win away to his former club Everton on Wednesday night given his woeful recent record at Goodison Park.
Moyes earned much praise for the work that he did managing Everton between 2002 and 2013 but his trips to Goodison Park since leaving the club haven’t gone as expected.
Last season Moyes was in charge of Sunderland and was unable to prevent the Black Cats from suffering a 2-0 defeat away to Everton.
In 2014 Moyes was sacked as Manchester United manager following a defeat by the same scoreline.
In fact Moyes has lost on all four occasions that he has faced Everton.
However, the Scotsman will be more confident going into Wednesday’s game after West Ham drew 1-1 with Leicester City on Friday.

Moyes told West Ham’s official website: “It was important that we won on Friday night, but it was probably more important that we didn’t lose. We take that into Wednesday’s game and I am personally really looking forward to going back to Everton.
“I’ve been back a few times and not been that successful on my other visits, so I‘m hoping that this one can be.”

There were several signs of encouragement for Moyes to take from the draw with Leicester, not least the sense of togetherness amongst the West Ham players; something that has been sorely lacking at times this campaign.
Moyes will be aiming to inflict further misery upon Everton, who were beaten 4-1 by Southampton yesterday and are currently in 16th place in the Premier League, just two points above West Ham.
