A talented West Ham youngster is back in action after several games out of the side.

West Ham United may be struggling at present but there was some positive news for one of the club’s loanees last night as Reece Burke made a goalscoring return for Bolton Wanderers.
Burke played regularly for Bolton earlier in the campaign but then lost his place in the side after the club endured a run of six successive defeats in the Championship.

The centre-back had several games on the bench and was then left out of the squad entirely but he returned to the starting line-up for the 2-2 draw at home to Reading last night and managed to get on the scoresheet in the 18th minute.
This is Burke’s third loan spell away from West Ham following stints with Bradford City and Wigan Athletic and he will hope that he has done enough to continue to command a place in the Bolton side.

Bolton are currently second bottom in the Championship having taken just 13 points from the 18 games that they have played so far and being involved in such a situation, where every point is crucial, will undoubtedly be hugely beneficial for Burke in terms of his overall development.
