West Ham loanee Edimilson’s debut for Fiorentina got off to a strong start.

West Ham United midfielder Edimilson was allowed to go out on loan to Fiorentina earlier this month.
He made his debut last night for his new side, helping Fiorentina to a 6-1 victory over Chievo.
Edimilson lasted 54 minutes, being substituted after picking up a booking, with his side already 3-0 up.
While the Swiss midfielder was not involved of any of Fiorentina’s goals, he was tidy, completing 94 per cent of his passes.
He had one shot which landed off target, making one successful tackle and two interceptions.

It was an encouraging start for the 22-year-old, to perform well, and to be picked as a starter in his new club’s first game of the Serie A season.
Edimilson was told he was not part of new manager Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at West Ham, after they signed Carlos Sanchez from Fiorentina on deadline day.
West Ham so far sit in the relegation zone after losing all three games to start the Premier League season.
Perhaps they could come to regret letting Edimilson head out on loan.
