West Ham United are in the market for Olivier Giroud, according to reports.

Olivier Giroud was the hero for Arsenal on Sunday afternoon, rescuing a point in the 1-1 draw at Southampton – and his goal came just hours after new speculation over a move away from the club.
Giroud came off the bench to score Arsenal’s equaliser at St. Mary’s Stadium, rescuing a draw for Arsene Wenger’s men as he again had to make do with a cameo role.
The French international, 30, has yet to start a single Premier League game this season, as he has been brought on as a substitute 13 times, scoring four goals.
A 2012 signing from Montpellier, Giroud is starved of first-team football, and with the World Cup just around the corner, speculation again surrounds his future in North London.
The Mirror report that Giroud fancies a January loan move away from Arsenal in order to prepare for the World Cup, and with no plans to leave London, West Ham United are being linked again.
The Hammers may be in the market for another striker during the January transfer window, and fans would seemingly love for the target man to join the club.
Hammers supporters took to Twitter to even message chairman David Gold urging him to push ahead with a move for Giroud next month, believing that he can be a huge asset to David Moyes’ side.
Others urged the club to sell Andy Carroll in order to fund a move for Giroud, as fans seemingly look towards a future without the former Liverpool striker being an option at the London Stadium – but whether will let Giroud go is another matter.
