West Ham United are reportedly keen on Metz’s Vincent Thill.

David Moyes hasn’t yet secured a new contract to remain as West Ham United manager, but he does already appear to be making transfer plans if he does land another deal.
Moyes has steadied the ship at the London Stadium since coming in as Slaven Bilic’s replacement in 2017, and he will do his chances of winning a new contract no harm by keeping the club in the Premier League.
Plans already seem to be in progress over potential signings, with The Express claiming that Moyes wants to lure Metz teenager Vincent Thill to East London this summer.

Thill, 18, has been touted as one of Europe’s top teenage talents, even though he has made just six first-team appearances for Metz, yet has more international caps – 13 – for Luxembourg.
West Ham fans may want a player who can make more of an instant impact, but landing Thill would be something of a coup given that the playmaker has been linked with some of Europe’s biggest clubs.
Thill’s agent, Didier Philippe, told Footmercato in October 2016 that both Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were battling for Thill’s signature, noting that Zinedine Zidane was keen on Thill whilst Bayern weren’t prepared to offer what Metz wanted at the time.

It remains to be seen whether both European heavyweights remain in the race for Thill’s signature, but their recent interest sums up just how exciting his arrival at West Ham could be for Moyes and co.
Quick and diminutive with impressive technical ability, Thill looks set for a bright future – and landing a player touted for such huge clubs should be something for West Ham to get behind, despite their hopes of securing bigger-name players to justify the move to the London Stadium.
