The Manchester United left-back should be targeted by West Ham United according to Shaka Hislop.

Former Hammers goalkeeper Shaka Hislop spoke to ESPN about the current struggles that Luke Shaw is experiencing at Manchester United, and suggested that he would be the ideal signing for his former club.
The 21-year-old has endured a torrid start to his United career, after moving to Old Trafford from Southampton in the summer of 2014, for a fee believed to be in the region of £27 million, and has made just 39 starts for the Red Devils.
He has also been continuously criticised by manager Jose Mourinho for his poor fitness levels, and he has made just seven Premier League appearances for the Portuguese this term.
And Hislop, who made 157 appearances for West Ham over the course of two separate spells with the club, suggested that Shaw would be the perfect signing for a club like the Hammers, when speaking to ESPN:
“If I’m Luke Shaw or his agent, I’m thinking: ‘Yes, it’s time to move on’. I don’t see him fitting into Jose Mourinho’s plans. He’s back from his horrific injury and he’s still only 21 years old. Maybe the option for them if he doesn’t fit into Mourinho’s immediate plans is to send him out on loan. Maybe to a club like West Ham who have a history of bringing players through. But if I’m Luke Shaw’s agent and I can get a big-money move away, I would seriously consider that.”

The problem with a move to the London Stadium for Shaw would be the competition that he would face for a place in the first-team.
Aaron Cresswell is Bilic’s first choice left-back, and despite his poor form this season, he is still considered as a top player with an exciting future ahead of him.
West Ham also have Arthur Masuaku amongst their ranks, so a move for the United full-back would seem unlikely, unless Bilic disposes of the 23-year-old Frenchman in the summer.
