The Hammers ace, 17, came on as a half-time substitute against Ukraine.

This week, a young defensive midfielder at West Ham United made his debut within a new international setup but had a game to forget as he came on as a substitute but was sent off, as reported by the official club website.
Kristijan Belic has gone through the Serbia national side’s youth ranks and, on Wednesday, made his bow for the Under-19s in a UEFA European U19 Championship Elite Round qualification game with Ukraine.
The 17-year-old has progressed through the Serbian ranks fairly quickly, being selected for the Under-17s in March last year and, by December, having graduated to the Under-18s, according to Transfermarkt.
Belic was introduced as a half-time substitute with his country trailing 2-1 at the Stadio Comunale in the Italian town of Caldiero, with Ukraine’s Heorhii Tsitaishvili and Danylo Sikan scoring before Serbia U19s captain Dusan Vlahovic halved the deficit before the break.
However, the Hammers ace did not last until full time, having been booked for a foul on Artem Bondarenko before being shown a second yellow card for a challenge on Tsitaishvili for his marching orders as his nation managed to pick up a 2-2 draw.

Belic, who joined West Ham from OFK Beograd in 2016, is now suspended for Serbia’s second group match with Belgium on Saturday but could return to action in the third and final tie against Group 7 hosts Italy in Padua next Tuesday.
According to the official Hammers website, Belic is a strong, committed and aggressive player who models his game on Cheikhou Kouyate – formerly of West Ham, now at Crystal Palace – and Belgium international Radja Nainggolan.
