According to a report from well respected football journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, West Ham have made a €20 million (£17.7 million) bid for Borussia Dortmund forward Andriy Yarmolenko, and what a superb signing he could turn out to be for the Hammers.

The 28-year-old joined Dortmund from Dynamo Kyiv in the summer of 2017, but he didn’t play to his full potential, although he still managed to chalk up six goals and six assists in 26 appearances in all competitions for the German giants.

Yarmolenko is still an elite performer, however, and given the opportunity of regular first-team action at the London Stadium, he could turn out to be a real asset for West Ham.
