West Ham United want £15m if they are to sell Borussia Monchengladbach and Leipzig target Reece Oxford.
Freiburg forward Nils Petersen and Moenchengladbach’s Reece Oxford (R) vie for the ball during the German first division Bundesliga football match.
Oxford spent the first half of this season on loan at Gladbach and the Bundesliga side are keen to make his move there permanent, already having an £8m offer rejected by the Hammers.
Moenchengladbach head coach Dieter Hecking gestures to his players during the German first division Bundesliga football match against SC Freiburg.
Fellow Germans Leipzig are also interested, but West Ham will not let the defender leave the club unless their required fee for the 19-year-old is paid. If it is not then there is still a chance Oxford could return to Borussia-Park on loan.
If the East Londoners do receive the full £15m for the youngster then it will be impressive business considering what has happened since the England Under-20 international broke into their first team more than two-and-a-half years ago.
Reece Oxford of West Ham United arrives at the stadium prior to the Premier League match against Middlesbrough.
Oxford made his debut for the club after coming through the academy in July 2015, becoming their youngest ever player after starting a Europa League qualifier aged 16.
At the time the Englishman was considered to be one of the brightest talents in the country, but since then he has played just 15 more times for the Hammers and has managed a combined total of nine first team appearances during two separate loan spells with Reading and Gladbach.
