Hammers flop Jonathan Calleri sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and opened up on the advice he received from West Ham skipper Mark Noble during the half-time break of his side’s vital win over the Swans on Saturday.
Slaven Bilic’s side ended their disastrous run, where they had taken just two points from seven games, with their 1-0 victory at the weekend, and they are now looking to push for a top-half finish.
The Argentine striker was introduced in the 40th minute of the game, after Michail Antonio trudged off with a suspected hamstring injury.
The 24-year-old has endured a woeful debut campaign in England with the Hammers, following his loan switch last summer, scoring just one goal in 14 outings for the East London outfit.
He had a big part to play in Saturday’s win, however, and he told WHUFC.com how club captain Mark Noble gave him some good advice at half-time:

“Mark is always positive, he told to me ‘Run fast, you will have chances’. I think it was a good game, I can give a lot more but it is the beginning of something good.”
Despite his admirable display against Swansea, Calleri still has a lot of work to do if he is to convince Bilic that he deserves a permanent deal in the summer.
