West Ham United’s fine run of recent form came to a crashing halt on Friday night as they were beaten 1-0 away at Brighton and Hove Albion.

The Hammers had beat Everton and Manchester United as well as drawing against Chelsea, and fans had real hope that Manuel Pellegrini’s side would continue that form against Brighton.

However, West Ham struggled at the Amex Stadium, and lost 1-0 as Glenn Murray profited from poor defending by Arthur Masuaku to score the winner.

West Ham really disappointed going forward, as Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko and Marko Arnautovic all failed to impress, and that has resulted in fans wanting changes.

After the international break, West Ham take on Tottenham Hotspur in a major London derby, and fans will want much better than the display against Spurs.

Pellegrini may well look to make changes, and fans have been taking to Twitter to call for winger Robert Snodgrass to be given a start at the London Stadium.

The veteran Scot, 31, hasn’t started a Premier League game since being hooked at half time against Wolverhampton Wanderers, and fans believe it’s time for him to play again.

Many feel that his hard work and effort will be vital in such a big game, and think it’s time for either Anderson or Yarmolenko to be dropped in favour of Snodgrass.
