West Ham United fans are hoping that Edimilson Fernandes’s successful return for the Irons leads to more spots in the first XI.

West Ham United fans on Twitter have called on David Moyes to start Edimilson Fernandes in Sunday’s trip to London rivals Chelsea.
The 21-year-old made his comeback for West Ham in Saturday’s 3-0 win over Southampton, replacing Michail Antonio after just nine minutes after the former was forced off with an injury.
It was Fernandes’s first bit of football in close to four months due to an ankle injury.
The Switzerland midfielder earned rave reviews from West Ham fans afterwards, and the Hammers’ faithful are now hopeful that Moyes will start him at Stamford Bridge this weekend.

Fernandes, a £5.5 million signing by Slaven Bilic in 2016 (The Guardian), has been a big miss for West Ham, who are now five points clear of the Premier League relegation zone.
And a player of his dynamism can certainly help the East Londoners put further distance between themselves and danger throughout the remainder of the campaign.
