Carroll was part of the West Ham side that took on Brentford in an international break friendly.

Andy Carroll returned from another injury lay-off to take part in West Ham United’s behind-closed-doors friendly against Championship side Brentford on Thursday afternoon – but Hammers fans reacted by wanting him sold.
The 29-year-old played the second half of the 2-1 win, which saw Robert Snodgrass and Chicharito get their names on the score sheet either side of Emiliano’s equaliser.
Snodgrass scored with a well-placed header after Lucas Perez had missed a sitter – crashing the ball against the underside of the bar from six yards out. Chicharito then won and scored a penalty himself.
Carroll has been sidelined since May but has undergone rehabilitation and regained his match fitness, and could now be available for selection next weekend when the Hammers go up against Manchester City.

The former Liverpool and Newcastle United striker has scored 33 goals in 128 games for West Ham since joining the club from Liverpool in 2012, but his future remains in doubt. His contract – worth £90,000 a week (Spotrac) – expires in June.
Hammers fans reacted to his return from injury by urging their club to sell him, rather than keep him and continue to give him the odd run of games when he is fit. One fan Tweeted: “Get out of our club.”
