Song was caught wearing a West Ham shirt on his Instagram story on Thursday.

Former West Ham United midfielder Alex Song posted a picture of himself in a Hammers training top on Instagram earlier this week and fans reacted by urging the club to consider bringing him back.
The 30-year-old midfielder has been without a club since January after Russian outfit Rubin Kazan decided to release the former Arsenal star from his contract with the top-tier outfit.

Song began his Premier League career at Arsenal, before moving to Barcelona. However, he moved back to London with West Ham on loan after a failed spell with the Spanish giants in 2014-15, before rejoining on loan again for 2015-16.
He posted a selfie on his Instagram story, screenshotted by fan account WHUFC Bulletin on Twitter, which saw Song posing in a Hammers training top.
West Ham boss Manuel Pellegrini will surely be desperate to add a new central midfielder to his squad this summer, after David Moyes failed to do just that in the January transfer window.
Newcastle United’s Jonjo Shelvey, Anderlecht’s Leander Dendoncker and Fulham’s Tom Cairney were all linked, but the Hammers did not land a midfielder.
Seeing Song in a Hammers shirt has prompted West Ham fans to urge their club to re-sign Song, two years after he left the club. One fan posted “Should take him back”.
