The Hammers captain and stalwart has not earned a single Three Lions cap at senior level.
West Ham United have posted a Twitter message suggesting that England manager Gareth Southgate ought to pick Mark Noble for the upcoming UEFA Nations League games in June.
The Three Lions face the Netherlands in the competition’s semi-finals on Thursday 6 June, with the winner taking on either Portugal or Switzerland three days later.
Noble is a bona fide West Ham legend, coming through the ranks at Upton Park and rising up to the position of club captain, making 467 appearances along the way (Transfermarkt).
The 32-year-old also has some impressive stats to back him up, with 56 goals and 58 assists registered for the Hammers – five apiece in the league this season.
Despite his obvious talents, great attitude and longevity in the game, Noble has never been called up to England’s senior squad, with the Under-21s his highest level (Transfermarkt).
It would be a shame if Noble would go his entire career without a single cap for the Three Lions so the West Ham admin has sought to give the national side a bit of a nudge with a clip of his superb goal at Watford:
