Kevin Nolan, Adrian and Andy Carroll of West Ham United walk out ahead of the Barclays Premier League match between Sunderland and West Ham United at Stadium of Light on December 13, 2014...

West Ham United joint chairman David Gold has wished Andy Carroll and Adrian well after confirming on Twitter that the two players would be leaving once their contracts expire at the end of June.

Striker Carroll has been with the Hammers since the summer of 2012, initially on loan from Liverpool before being signed permanently the following year, and has scored 34 goals in 142 appearances (Transfermarkt).

However, his time at West Ham has been blighted by injury, and this season he made just 14 appearances in all competitions, played for 568 minutes overall, and has not featured since February (Transfermarkt).

Goalkeeper Adrian, meanwhile, arrived in East London on a free transfer from Spanish club Real Betis in July 2013 and made 150 first-team appearances in all competitions, twice finishing as runner up in the Hammer of the Year award competition (official club website).

Midfielder Samir Nasri and striker Toni Martinez will also leave West Ham on 30 June, as will midfielders Moses Makasi and Noha Sylvestre, defenders Vashon Neufville and Josh Pask, and scholars Mason Barrett, Kevin Dalipi, Jay Mingi and Odysseas Spyridis.

Here is how Gold announced the departure of the two long-serving players on the social media platform:
