The Hammers face Manchester City, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers in China in pre-season.

West Ham United have announced that they will be one of the sides taking part in this summer’s Premier League Asia Trophy in China.
The Hammers form a quartet of Premier League sides, along with Manchester City, Newcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers, in contesting the tournament, which takes place every other year.
All four teams will play in a double-header at Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre on Wednesday 17 July, with a third/fourth place play-off and final staged at Shanghai’s Hongkou Stadium on Saturday 20 July.
This summer will be the second time West Ham have participated in the Premier League Asia Country, with their only other appearance ten years ago coinciding with the last time the tournament was held in mainland China.
Earlier this year, Irons striker Marko Arnautovic was linked with a move to a Chinese club, thought to be Shanghai SIPG (BBC Sport), but ultimately he outlined his intention to remain at the London Stadium, as reported by multiple outlets including Goal.com.
As a result, some West Ham fans on Twitter had a laugh at the fact Arnautovic could, technically speaking, be going to China after all:
