West Ham United boss Slaven Bilic has been weighing up what to do with Andy Carroll ahead of crunch games against Burnley and Hull City.
The Hammers are one point and one place above the relegation zone going into crucial back-to-back home games against Burnley and Hull on Wednesday and Saturday.
Bilic knows his side needs to start picking up wins to pull away from the danger zone and the club has been boosted by the spirited performance in the 2-2 draw with title hopefuls Liverpool at Anfield last time out.
First up is Sean Dyche’s clarets who have struggled on their travels all season.
Bilic told the club’s official website he will wait until game day before deciding whether to use Carroll from the start or the bench after cameos in the last two games.

“We are going to decide it tomorrow, whether to use him from the bench again or is it time to put him from the start,” Bilic told whufc.com.
“We have to manage our players, especially him, that didn’t play for a long time.”

But West Ham fans have left Bilic in no doubt over what he should do with the big striker on Twitter.
Supporters responded resoundingly to a post from the club’s official Twitter account asking: “To start, or not to start, that is the question. How will @AndyTCarroll be used on Wednesday?”
