The Burnley goalkeeper is said to be wanted as Joe Hart’s successor at West Ham United.
West Ham United supporters cannot agree as to whether or not Burnley’s Tom Heaton would be a good buy for the Hammers.
The Sun reported on Tuesday that West Ham intend to push Burnley to part with Heaton – who is said to be valued at around £10 million – after sending Joe Hart back to Manchester City.
Heaton began the season as Clarets first choice, but lost his place to Nick Pope after suffering a dislocated shoulder last September and has failed to make a competitive appearance since.
Nevertheless, the 32-year-old was named on England’s stand-by list for this summer’s World Cup, at Hart’s expense.

Chester-born Heaton began his career at Manchester United, before permanent spells at Cardiff City, Bristol City and Burnley, for whom he signed in 2013.
