The former Fulham right-back was making his fifth West Ham United appearance against Tottenham Hotspur another of his old clubs.

Ryan Fredricks made only the fifth appearance of his West Ham United career against first club Tottenham Hotspur on Wednesday. Fredericks, a free transfer signing from Fulham in the summer, has found himself playing second fiddle to Pablo Zabaleta this season.
But another chance to impress came his way against Tottenham, albeit one that ended in a 3-1 defeat and League Cup elimination for West Ham.
And Hammers fans appear split on the former Fulham full-back’s performance.
Here is what they are saying on Twitter, starting with the negatives…
But the comments are not all bad…
A goal in each half from Son Heung-min gave Tottenham a 2-0 lead at the London Stadium, but West Ham reduced the deficit through Lucas Perez, the former Arsenal forward, midway through the second half.
Spurs regained their two-goal cushion just four minutes later, however, through Fernando Llorente.

Fredericks came through the academy ranks at Tottenham but left for Fulham in 2015, via a brief spell at Bristol City.
The 26-year-old helped the Cottagers to promotion last season, and is said to have had a host of admirers before joining West Ham.
