West Ham United and Everton have both been linked with a move for Norwich City star James Maddison.

It is exciting times for West Ham and Everton this summer after the appointments of Manuel Pellegrini and Marco Silva respectively.
Both the Hammers and the Toffees have replaced pragmatic managers David Moyes and Sam Allardyce in a bid to appease supporters yearning for a more attacking style and philosophy.
West Ham and Everton have been linked with a host of players this summer as they look to improve after largely torrid seasons last term.
But it is their mutual interest in young Norwich midfield star James Maddison which has set tongues wagging, particularly among West Ham fans.

According to The Guardian the Hammers bid £12 million for the talented playmaker back in January.
He is a player very much in the West Ham mould, comfortable on the ball and skillful to boot, and fans online were excited by their club’s reported January interest.
But they have been much less enthused by reports from the likes of Sky Sports over the last week that Everton are leading a clutch of Premier League clubs in the bid to sign the England Under 21 player with Leicester City coming up on the rails.
It is fair to say Hammers fans aren’t happy they could be beaten to a longstanding target and young English talent by the Foxes or Everton.
