West Ham United could reportedly make a move for Newcastle United midfielder Isaac Hayden this summer.

Several West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Telegraph this week which have suggested that Manuel Pellegrini could be one of the managers to make a move for Newcastle’s Isaac Hayden this summer.
Hayden has been outstanding in the Magpies’ midfield since the turn of the year. Nevertheless, The Telegraph reports that Hayden is keen to leave St James’ Park this summer due to personal reasons.
Unsurprisingly, that appears to have put a number of teams on alert. The report names Brighton, West Ham and Norwich City as three teams that could make a move for the 24-year-old, who is valued at between £15 million and £20 million.
Plenty of Hammers supporters on social media have suggested that Hayden is a very underrated player in Rafa Benitez’s side, and thus, he could be a very shrewd addition to Pellegrini’s squad this summer.

There are some fans who are underwhelmed by the links. Hayden’s form during the second-half of this season has come out of nowhere to an extent, as he had previously struggled to establish himself as a regular on Tyneside.
But the general consensus appears to be that he would be a very good signing for West Ham that could potentially form a great partnership alongside Declan Rice in the middle of the park.

Here is what some of the West Ham fans made of the reports…
