West Ham United are reportedly interested in signing Fabio Borini this summer.

West Ham fans have been reacting on Twitter to reports coming out of Italian outlet Calciomercato which suggested that Manuel Pellegrini has put the Hammers in the race to sign Fabio Borini from AC Milan.
Pellegrini is gearing up for his first summer at the helm at the London Stadium, and it appears that he has big plans with the Daily Mirror recently reporting that he has a budget of £75 million to spend.

With that kind of kitty and a marquee manager appointment, West Ham fans would be forgiven for feeling cautiously optimistic about the season ahead after David Moyes’ men spent much of this past campaign battling to avoid the drop in the Premier League.
But it appears that some of that optimism has already evaporated with some supporters amid Calciomercato’s suggestion that the Irons are in the running to sign Borini from Milan, while Carlo Ancelotti’s Napoli are also keen on bagging his signature.

The 27-year-old has enjoyed a decent year at San Siro, but his form in the Premier League is extremely disappointing. He is yet to reach double figures for league goals in a single season throughout his career, and the supporters are extremely concerned by the reports.
While there has been some support for a potential bid, the majority of the fans on social media feel that the Hammers should be avoiding the one-time Italy international at all costs. They are also concerned that the interest hints that despite Pellegrini’s appointment, few things are actually changing at the London Stadium.
