West Ham United and Hull City went head-to-head this weekend.
West Ham United maintained their impressive recent run as they overcame Hull City 1-0 at the London Stadium on Saturday.
The only goal of the game came courtesy of Hammers skipper Mark Noble, who scored from the penalty spot with just 14 minutes of normal time remaining.
Hull can count themselves unlucky not to have scored after hitting the woodwork three times, while West Ham manager Slaven Bilic made a bold decision at half time to change the game, replacing both Manuel Lanzini and Pedro Obiang.
While the former was having a below-par match, the removal of the latter generated plenty of discussion among fans for the wrong reasons, even if West Ham did ultimately win the game.
Obiang has been brilliant since he came into the starting line-up and while his early booking meant he would have been walking something of a tightrope in the second period, he deserved more time to influence the game. That was not to be, with Edimilson Fernandes replacing him at the break.
