Manuel Lanzini was among the West Ham United players who simply didn’t turn up against Swansea City.

West Ham United’s survival hopes took a turn for the worst on Saturday.
David Moyes’s side were thumped 4-1 by fellow strugglers Swansea City in South Wales.
The Swans were 3-0 up by 48 minutes, before a Jordan Ayew penalty after the hour mark made it an even more miserable afternoon for West Ham, who pulled one back through Michal Antonio on 79 minutes.

Naturally, fans of the East London club are furious – and rightly so.
This was a great chance for the Irons to move six points clear of the danger zone and boost their hopes of staying in the top flight in a big way, but they blew it.
Despite the scoreline, Moyes selected a strong first XI but so many of his so-called heavy hitters simply failed to turn up – and none more so than Manuel Lanzini.

The Argentine attacker posted a lazy, sluggish performance which, considering the Hammers’ situation, is unforgivable.
And West Ham fans slated him on Twitter afterwards.
Rumour has it that West Ham are ready to offer Lanzini – a £9 million signing in 2016, according to The Guardian – a contract extension, but the South American hardly deserves it on the back of that showing
