According to reports from the Daily Record, West Ham are considering making a move for Scotland midfielder John McGinn in the summer.

The 23-year-old midfielder is one of the brightest talents in Scotland, and has attracted interest from both Celtic and Rangers in the recent transfer windows.

McGinn has been in fine form this season, and has scored six goals in 34 appearances. He has been one of the key players for Neil Lennon’s side, and played brilliantly in Hibs’s 2-0 win over Aberdeen at Easter Road on Saturday.

The report claims that West Ham assistant boss Billy McKinlay watched the midfielder during Hibs’ victory, and it looks like he has done enough to impress the Hammers officials.

Lennon is keen to keep the Scotland international, but with a year left on his contract, Hibs could be willing to sell if they receive good offers from West Ham.
