The West Ham United defender impressed against Stoke City this weekend.
West Ham United may have taken some time to build momentum under new manager David Moyes, but it now seems the Hammers boss has his side heading in only one direction.
Following a 1-0 victory against Chelsea and a scoreless draw with Arsenal, West Ham made it seven points from a possible nine as they overcame Stoke City 3-0 on Saturday.
It was a fine performance from a Hammers side that are quickly pulling well clear of the drop zone before the festive fixtures come thick and fast, and the return of centre-back James Collins has also come at the perfect time for a manager famed for building from the back.
Collins had not kicked a ball in the Premier League since mid-September, yet it looked like he had never been away as he slotted seamlessly into West Ham’s back line for their latest clash.
The win took West Ham up to 15th in the table and Moyes will be hoping there are plenty more wins where that came from.
