West Ham United suffered defeat in their latest Premier League game, but Grady Diangana did impress the supporters.

A number of West Ham fans have lauded Grady Diangana’s display during their 1-0 defeat to Tottenham on Saturday, with many believing that he has once again proved why he is such a highly-rated prospect at the London Stadium.
Diangana may not have expected to feature against Spurs despite being named on the bench by Manuel Pellegrini. But the injury sustained by Andriy Yarmolenko five minutes before the break prompted the Hammers boss to throw the 20-year-old on for only the third appearance of his senior career.
It was a disappointing afternoon for the Irons in terms of the result, but there was some positives to take from the game – and Diangana’s display arguably seemed to be one of them.
The midfielder created a couple of problems, and some fans felt that he should have won a penalty when he collided with Harry Winks right on the edge of the box.

He certainly did enough to convince the West Ham fans that Pellegrini made the right call bringing him on ahead of Michail Antonio – who replaced Mark Noble with less than 20 minutes remaining.
And, in the unfortunate event that Yarmolenko is sidelined for a lengthy spell, many of the supporters are hopeful that it will be Diangana who is given a run in the starting lineup after a very bright start to his Hammers first-team career.

Here is what some of the West Ham fans made of Diangana’s display…
