West Ham United left it late but ultimately did enough to overcome Swansea City this weekend.

West Ham United had late substitute Diafra Sakho to thank as they overcame Swansea City 1-0 at the London Stadium this weekend.
Hammers boss Slaven Bilic changed things up with time running out, bringing on Sakho and Arthur Masuaku, and the pair combined brilliantly to ease the pressure on their boss and earn the hosts three vital points.

After the match some of West Ham’s players took to Twitter to celebrate the win, including Mausaku, Manuel Lanzini and star performer Pablo Zabaleta.
The summer signing admitted it had not been the best performance from his side, but that the victory was ultimately all that mattered as West Ham attempt to pull away from the relegation zone and move into the top half of the table.
Masuaku said he was proud of the Hammers’ supporters as they ultimately played their part in an exciting win and Lanzini admitted that he was happy both for the victory and to be back on the pitch after a prolonged spell on the side-lines due to injury.
West Ham’s players now head off for international duty but they will be hoping this win is the start of a turnaround that stretches well into 2018.
