West Ham United won against Newcastle United on Saturday.
West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Declan Rice against Newcastle United.
Rice, who can operate as a central defender or as a defensive midfielder, featured for West Ham in the Premier League game against Newcastle away for home at St. James’ Park on Saturday afternoon.
The 19-year-old started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Hammers won 3-0.
According to WhoScored, Rice had a pass accuracy of 78.1%, won three headers, made four tackles, one interceptions, two clearances and one block, and attempted one dribble.
Rice did not look very comfortable in the opening minutes of the match and took a while to get into the game, but once he did, the talented and promising youngster was brilliant.
The win against Newcastle has enhanced the Hammers’ chances of finishing the season in the top six of the Premier League.
West Ham fans were impressed with the performance of Rice and have praised him on Twitter.
