West Ham rescued a point against Stoke City at the London Stadium.

Cheikhou Kouyate has been largely inconsistent this season and Monday night’s showing proved no different as West Ham United saved a point against Stoke City – and fans have taken to Twitter to vent their anger at the midfielder.
Target man Andy Carroll returned from injury after 13 games on the sidelines to volley home a 90th-minute equaliser, just 11 minutes after veteran Peter Crouch had capitalised on a mistake from Joe Hart to put Stoke ahead.
The Hammers did not have luck on their side as Michael Oliver and his assistant linesmen ruled out three West Ham goals, Marko Arnautovic being offside for two of them and Carroll for handling before Javier Hernandez scored.

Though it was a match that the Hammers largely dominated, they lacked creativity from midfield until Manuel Lanzini came off the bench in the 81st minute as he too recovered from injury.
Kouyate, alongside captain Mark Noble, failed to provide the attacking midfield and strikers with any real kind of creativity and that saw the Hammers struggle to break a poor Stoke side down.
West Ham fans took to Twitter to take aim at Senegal international Kouyate, with many left angry at his performance once again – an all too familiar sight this season. One fan said “we need to offload” the former Anderlecht midfielder.
Kouyate still has three years to run on his current contract, which the Daily Star claims is worth £30,000 a week.
