West Ham United’s supporters were disappointed by Aaron Cresswell’s performance in the impressive victory.

West Ham may have secured survival in the Premier League with a stunning victory over Leicester on Saturday, but not every Hammers player was praised by the fans on Twitter after the game, with one in particular seemingly getting a lot of criticism.
Goals from Joao Mario and Mark Noble ensured that the Irons picked up the three points that takes them five points clear of the bottom three with two games still to play this term. With the two sides of either side of the drop zone line set to play each other on Tuesday, the Hammers cannot be caught despite there being six points still to play for for both Southampton and Swansea.

The victory over Leicester therefore, was a huge one. However, there were still a number of West Ham supporters who were hugely critical of Aaron Cresswell’s performance at the King Power Stadium.
The left-sided centre-back seemed to really struggle throughout the game. His passing was underwhelming, and he was lucky not to be sent off for a handball. And the Hammers fans on social media appear to feel that the display should act as a wake-up call to the decision makers at the London Stadium.

Many Irons supporters are convinced that Cresswell simply is not good enough defensively to be considered a stalwart of the side, which he certainly is having appeared in all but two of their league games this season.
One supporter labelled the 28-year-old one of the worst players he has seen play for the club. And while that is certainly extreme, there were many who were extremely frustrated with his display against the Foxes.
