West Ham youngster apologises for Wigan loss.

West Ham youngster Toni Martinez says he is hoping for the chance to put everything right after the club’s embarrassing FA Cup loss.
The Hammers were beaten 2-0 by League One side Wigan Athletic, suffering another early cup exit.
Players have been quiet on social media after the result, but one who did pop his his head up was young striker Toni Martinez.
Martinez started in the 2-0 defeat up front alongside Javier Hernandez, and says he is now focused on putting the result right in midweek when they face Crystal Palace in the Premier League.
Martinez’s message was meant with good intentions and the promising striker is clearly keen to start contributing.
Whether he will get the opportunity in the Premier League as a starter is questionable, as the game at the DW Stadium was a big chance for him to prove himself.
Fans have been sympathetic towards him and cited a lack of service as reason for his struggle.
