West Ham United fans got their first glimpse of Sebastian Haller as he made his debut in their latest pre-season friendly.
A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Sebastien Haller’s performance as the Hammers’ record signing made his debut for the club in their latest pre-season friendly.
Manuel Pellegrini saw his side bounce back from a disappointing trip to Asia by securing a 1-0 win against Fulham at Craven Cottage. It was a stunning strike from Manuel Lanzini that settled the game, but the club’s new striker certainly had opportunities to find the back of the net.
Haller completed his move to the London Stadium while the side was competing in the Premier League Asia Trophy, so the game at Fulham provided the fans with their first chance to see the Frenchman wearing the Claret and Blue strip.
And it appears that he impressed the large majority of the supporters. He was unable to open his account after forcing Marcus Bettinelli into a stunning double save during the second-half, but there were certainly bright moments.
Plenty of fans feel that he could make a devastating impact in the Premier League this season, especially with match-winner Lanzini, Felipe Anderson and fellow summer signing Pablo Fornals working around him.
The supporters are incredibly excited to see the quartet form an understanding over the coming weeks, and believe that there could be something special developing within Pellegrini’s ranks.
