Samir Nasri made his debut in West Ham United’s FA Cup third round tie, and played around an hour for Manuel Pellegrini’s side.

A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Samir Nasri’s display after the Frenchman made his Hammers debut in their FA Cup third round tie with Birmingham City on Saturday.
Nasri recently completed his short-term move to the London Stadium after an 18-month period out of the game. He was included in the matchday squad for the Premier League clash with Brighton in midweek, but did not get on the pitch as Pellegrini had made all three changes by the 63rd minute.
However, he did not need to wait long to make his Irons bow as he was picked in the starting lineup against the Championship side in the third round of the cup.
And it appears that many of the West Ham fans were delighted with what they saw from the former Manchester City man before he was substituted just before the hour-mark.

Nasri looked comfortable on the ball and showed that he possessed that touch of class that could make him a fantastic addition to Pellegrini’s squad once he is fully up to speed. In fact, several suggested that he looked like he had hardly been away from the game as he took little time to make an impressive impact.
And there are plenty of fans on social media who have suggested that he has to be considered for a chance when Pellegrini’s men face Arsenal in the Premier League next weekend – which certainly says a lot about how impressed many where.

Here is how some of the West Ham fans reacted to Nasri’s debut…
