West Ham United are linked with the West Bromwich Albion hitman.

It’s safe to say that West Ham United aren’t crazy about rumours linking them with Salomon Rondon.

The Express and Star reported today that West Ham were weighing up a bid for the West Bromwich Albion striker, who scored eight Premier League goals last season.

The report also claimed that a “huge offer” would be needed to prise him from the West Midlands, after a Chinese club saw a £32 million bid rejected in January.

West Ham have been linked with a multitude of strikers. Links to Olivier Giroud, Javier Hernandez and Kelechi Iheanacho excited the Hammers faithful, but Rondon does not seem to be inspiring the same joy.

A number of fans expressed an interest in getting his West Brom team-mate Nacer Chadli instead, with the Belgian’s future at The Hawthorns up in the air.

His form for the Baggies nosedived in the second half of last season, perhaps after Albion refused to let him move to China, and he netted just one goal in the calendar year, which came in May.
