Ryan Fredericks was superb after coming on during West Ham United’s victory against his former club.

West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Ryan Fredericks’ display during the Hammers’ 3-1 win against his former club Fulham on Friday night.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side came from behind to secure their first win since beating Arsenal in mid-January. Javier Hernandez, Issa Diop and Michail Antonio scored the Irons’ goals at the London Stadium.
Fulham threatened to cause an upset, and their performance during the first-half prompted Pellegrini to change things at the back at the break as he brought Fredericks on for Pablo Zabaleta for the second-half.
The 26-year-old has not had the easiest spell with West Ham, but he appears to have turned a corner lately. One challenge on Aleksandar Mitrovic, in particular, was vital as the visitors looked to bag an equaliser before Antonio sealed the three points with moments to go.

Zabaleta has been a fantastic servant for the Irons, but there are now plenty of supporters on social media who are imploring Pellegrini to hand Fredericks a chance to start away at Manchester City on Wednesday.
The Argentinian endured a difficult evening against the Cottagers, and that has left some supporters wondering if Fredericks is pushing towards becoming the side’s first-choice right-back following his performance on Friday. They certainly think he should have started the game.
