West Ham United boss David Moyes reportedly had something of a spat with Diafra Sakho before their Carabao Cup tie with Arsenal.

West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to largely urge the club to sell Diafra Sakho after a report from the Daily Mail suggested that he had a row with David Moyes ahead of Tuesday’s Carabao Cup tie with Arsenal.
The Mail reports that Sakho was meant to start the game at the Emirates, but almost did not feature in the matchday squad at all after holding a discussion with Moyes about his lack of starts in the Premier League this season.

According to the Mail, the 27-year-old questioned whether his lack of starts in the top flight was down to a clause in his contract that means that he will receive a £50,000 bonus every time he is in the starting lineup – though West Ham have denied that that is the case at all.
The discussion then left Sakho – who already wants to leave the club – insisting that he was not going to be involved against Arsenal, the Mail reports, before he was talked into a taking a place on the substitutes’ bench.

Unsurprisingly, the reports have prompted plenty of reaction on social media, with a number of Irons fans clearly having no sympathy for Sakho’s situation as they have questioned what he has done to be deserving of such a bonus anyway.
Many of the supporters have now urged Moyes and the club to make sure that they sell the Senegal international during the January transfer window as keeping him around may well have a negative impact on the team.
Here is the best of the reaction…
