West Ham United youngster Reece Oxford is reportedly close to sealing a permanent move away from the London Stadium.

Several West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from Sky Sports earlier this week which suggested that Reece Oxford is closing in on agreeing a permanent move to Augsburg ahead of the summer.
Oxford is currently on loan with the Bundesliga side. He left the Hammers during the January transfer window and has gone on to make six top flight appearances in Germany, getting sent off in the emphatic 5-1 defeat to Freiburg in February.
Sky Sports reports that Augsburg are close to signing Oxford on a permanent basis, with a fee potentially rising to £8 million being discussed by the two clubs.
It is little surprise that West Ham are ready to cash in on the 20-year-old. He does not appear to be in Manuel Pellegrini’s plans, and the supporters clearly have their doubts about whether he will ever realise the potential he showed when he emerged into the first-team for the first time.

In fact, a number of fans have social media have suggested that West Ham are making the right decision letting Oxford go this summer as they cannot see him making the grade with the Irons.
Several have suggested that £8 million would be very good business, with Oxford out of the first-team picture for a long time and some fans having their doubts about his attitude.
