A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react to Nathan Holland’s performance during the under-23 side’s victory against Swansea this week – with the supporters imploring Manuel Pellegrini to hand the midfielder a chance in the first-team this season.

The Irons stormed to a fantastic 3-0 win. Having gone in level at the break, Dan Kemp scored twice and Mesaque Dju bagged his first goal for the club against the Swans.

But despite failing to get on the scoresheet, Holland seemed to be the player that the supporters were raving about following the game as he provided two assists in the victory.

The 20-year-old’s potential is no secret, but he has been unlucky with injuries. So he will be delighted that he is back contributing for the under-23s at this stage of the campaign.

The senior side sit ninth in the Premier League table and look to already have more than enough points to ensure that they will not be dragged down and given a nervy end to the season.

And with that in mind, several supporters have suggested that they want to see Pellegrini use the final games of the season to make Holland the latest starlet to be promoted into the first-team. They feel that they have something special on their hands in the youngster, and their league position sets the stage perfectly for a chance to be given.
