West Ham United forward Marko Arnautovic has taken to Instagram to confirm that he will stay at the club this month.

Some West Ham fans on Twitter have reacted with annoyance towards Marko Arnautovic after he announced on Instagram that he is staying at the club.
Sky Sports reported earlier on Friday that Arnautovic could leave the London Stadium this month if they receive an offer worth £50 million amid interest from the Chinese Super League.
But the 29-year-old took to his personal Instagram account later on Friday afternoon to explain the recent speculation surrounding his future and his intentions to stay.
Here is a West Ham supporters fan page showing Arnautovic’s message:
The Hammers signed Arnautovic during the summer of 2018 when he made the switch from then-Premier League side Stoke City.
There were some West Ham fans on Twitter who haven’t taken too kindly to recent talk about Arnautovic potentially moving to China.
One supporter stated that he ‘wanted him gone’ and ‘that won’t change’ despite his message that he will be staying at the club for the time being.

Others urged fellow supporters to ‘get behind him’, while another fan felt that the Austria international ‘didn’t get the offer he was hoping for’.
Here is a selection of West Ham supporters on Twitter offering their thoughts on Arnautovic’s statement:
The Hammers signed Arnautovic during the summer of 2018 when he made the switch from then-Premier League side Stoke City.
Initially, under Slaven Bilic, he struggled to prove his worth on the left-hand side of West Ham’s flank, but the arrival of David Moyes midway through the campaign changed everything.
The Scotsman moved the powerful attacker through the middle and, as a result of that tactical switch, his attacking threat increased.
Over the course of this season, he has played 18 matches in all competitions for the east London outfit, scoring eight goals and supplying two assists for his teammates.
