Marko Arnautovic has been crucial of late at West Ham.

West Ham United attacker Marko Arnautovic has been ruled out of action for the Hammers next four outings after suffering a hamstring injury in what is becoming somewhat of a crisis at the London Stadium – and fans cannot believe their luck.

The 28-year-old has been in exceptional form of late, scoring six goals and adding three assists in his last eight Premier League matches for David Moyes’ side.

Signed from Stoke City in the summer for a club-record fee, the Austria international featured for the entire 90 minutes against Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon but it appears he has since picked up the muscle problem.

The London Evening Standard reported that the one-time Inter Milan attacker will now miss Saturday’s FA Cup clash against Wigan before remaining sidelined against Crystal Palace, Watford and Brighton.

Arnautovic joins Andy Carroll, Diafra Sakho and Manuel Lanzini on the sidelines as Moyes’ squad becomes incredibly threadbare in the final third. Fans have reacted in frustration at the news.

One supporter even Tweeted co-owner David Gold himself, asking for the supremo to “please, please, please make some signings.”
