West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez is reportedly in talks over a move away from the London Stadium.

A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail suggesting that Javier Hernandez has handed in a transfer request to try and force through a move to Sevilla.
The 31-year-old featured in both of the Hammers’ first two Premier League games of this season, and scored the equaliser in the 1-1 draw with Brighton and Hove Albion.
Nevertheless, the Daily Mail reports that the Mexican is fearful that he is not going to play regularly with the Irons bringing Sebastien Haller to the London Stadium this summer, while Albian Ajeti also joined the club while the English window was open.
And the report suggests that he has now handed in a transfer request with an £8 million move to the La Liga side on the cards. It is suggested that Sevilla’s bid currently stands at £7 million.

With little between West Ham’s current demands and Sevilla’s reported bid, and with Hernandez submitting a transfer request, it would be no surprise to see a deal agreed before the window shuts.
And there are plenty of Hammers supporters now keen to see the former Manchester United man go in light of the reports suggesting that he is hoping to leave the club.

Some are concerned that Manuel Pellegrini will be left a little light up front without Hernandez, and wonder if the club need to look at the free agent market if he does seal a switch to Sevilla.
Here is how some of the fans reacted to the reports concerning Hernandez…
