West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has hinted of leaving the club in January.
West Ham goalkeeper Adrian has said that he is looking to leave the London club once the transfer window reopens in January.
Adrian joined the Hammers in 2013, and has made 106 Premier League appearances for the club. He lost his starting spot to Darren Randolph for the majority of last season, and it has been a similar story with him this season as well.
He is make a Premier League appearance this season after finding himself on the bench following Joe Hart’s arrival at the club on a season-long loan deal. He has made only two appearances for the club in the Carabao Cup this season.
The 30-year-old is utterly frustrated with his current situation and he told Radio Marca in Spain that he needs to leave the club in order to get regular football.
He harbours the ambition of playing for Spain, and feels that his best chance of representing his nation is moving elsewhere in search of regular football.
“The coach is not giving me much ball this year, but the data is there. It only remains to fight,” the goalkeeper told Radio Marca.
“Without playing, I repeat the call with the Spanish team disappears. The market will be reopened and an agreement must be reached because I am not happy in this situation. Try other leagues? I would not mind. I want to enjoy every Sunday and that is achieved by playing.”
