Aaron Mooy impressed a lot of West Ham United supporters with his performance.

A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Aaron Mooy’s performance against Manuel Pellegrini’s side on Saturday – with plenty suggesting that they would like to see the Hammers make a move for the Australian in the summer.
The Irons were given a good scare at the weekend. Many West Ham supporters would have been forgiven for expecting their side to make it tougher for themselves against the Premier League’s bottom side than it needed to be.
And that is exactly how the game played out. Despite Mark Noble breaking the deadlock from the penalty spot, the Terriers would score three times to lead 3-1 heading into the final 15 minutes.
But West Ham produced a stunning turnaround that spared their blushes and pushed the visitors closer to a return to the Championship.

However, there was at least one Huddersfield player who impressed the Hammers faithful. Mooy provided the assist for the first goal and looked a class act throughout the contest.
The 28-year-old found a teammate with 39 of his 42 passes. According to Whoscored, Declan Rice was the only player from either side to start the game who went on to have a better pass completion rate. He also won three challenges on an agonising afternoon for Huddersfield.

The Times reported last May that West Ham were leading the chase to sign Mooy in the summer. And based on the reaction to his display on Saturday, it appears that many fans would like to see the club make another move for him at the end of this campaign.
