Aaron Cresswell has not always had the easiest time at West Ham United.

West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Aaron Cresswell’s performance during the Hammers’ excellent 3-1 victory against Fulham on Friday night.
The Irons bounced back from going a goal down early on to score three times and bag their first win in more than a month. After Javier Hernandez’s controversial equaliser, Issa Diop and Michail Antonio both scored with headers to set up the win.
It was a really strong night for Cresswell. He arguably could face some criticism for the opening goal from Ryan Babel, but he more than made up for that with a performance that would have reminded fans of the form that he showed immediately after his arrival at the Boleyn Ground.
Cresswell constantly offered an option to Felipe Anderson further down the line and looked very solid defensively. Fulham threatened to ask questions of Lukasz Fabianski, but the Hammers defence largely managed to prevent too many chances during the periods when they were under pressure.

The 29-year-old has not always enjoyed the best spell with the Hammers. His form has been criticised at times, and left-back appeared to be an area of the squad that some would have liked Manuel Pellegrini to look to strengthen in the near future.
But after Cresswell’s performance on Friday, it appears that plenty of fans are now convinced that there is a lot more to come from the former Ipswich Town ace.
