West Ham were linked to Manchester City’s Kelechi Iheanacho in the summer, before he signed for Leicester City.

Leicester City handed a start to summer signing Kelechi Iheanacho on Monday night, but the Nigerian striker struggled to make a positive impact.
Iheanacho was one of the Premier League’s most in demand players in the summer as Manchester City made him available for transfer.

On current form there is no danger of Leicester losing him, with Iheanacho struggled to live up to his previous hype.
He looks more like an alternative to Jamie Vardy rather than a partner for him, and the pair did not link up well at all against West Brom.
Iheanacho lasted 74 minutes of Leicester’s draw with West Brom, and he was lucky not to be hooked at half-time.
He managed just 21 touches, and did not manage a shot at goal.
West Ham fans, originally upset to have missed out on his signature, were left feeling relieved at the fact they did not spend a huge fee on him…
