West Ham United have announced that Domingos Quina has left for another Premier League side.

A number of West Ham fans have taken to Twitter to react to the news that the club confirmed on their official website that Domingos Quina has left the Hammers to join Watford on a permanent basis.
Quina joined the Irons during Slaven Bilic’s time in charge and quickly made his debut for the first-team. However, despite long being considered one of the most talented prospects at the club, he goes into this season still awaiting his Premier League debut.
He has only made a handful of appearances for the Hammers’ senior side, but did provide a glimpse of his quality in the summer by helping Portugal’s under-19s win the European Championships.
Despite his success, the West Ham fans have probably been fearing that an exit was possible for much of the window, with reports linking him with a move away in the weeks building up to the deadline.

And Quina has sealed that move away from the London Stadium, with the club confirming that he has joined the Hornets for an undisclosed fee.
The news has received something of a mixed response. There are some supporters who feel that Quina was threatening to become one of those players who simply will not realise his potential during his career and thus, letting him leave is not going to hurt the Hammers at all.

However, there are others who are furious with the transfer and feel that it could come back to haunt West Ham in the future. The Daily Mail recently reported that Quina had 12 months left on his deal with the Irons, so perhaps that has had an influence on the club’s decision to sell. But it does not change the fact that many fans are not happy.
Here is the best of the reaction to the announcement…
